| Dynamos Handed 4-3 Loss by Clippers | Baltimore pitcher Joe McDowell had a large part in his team beating the Detroit Dynamos, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win, Baltimore goes to 29-26, while the Dynamos fall to 18-36.
Baltimore used a clutch at-bat from Ike Barnett to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Clippers ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Barnett, "and then get after it again."
