Tice Memorial Stadium II was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Cincinnati Cannons wiggled past the Montreal Saints, 4-3, at Tice Memorial Stadium II. The win was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati pitcher Jim York. Cincinnati is now 40-42, while Montreal is 31-50.

The Cannons got a clutch hit from center fielder Bonnie Chapin. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Cannons.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Chapin. "I like it."
