| Minneapolis Nets 4-3 Win Versus Keystones | The Minneapolis Millers faced a tough opponent in Philadelphia pitcher Billy Hasson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Broad Street Park II by a final score of 4-3. Hasson went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Minneapolis reliever Ben Baird picked up the win, upping his record to 7-6. Jim Steuber was saddled with the loss. Minneapolis's record now stands at 26-28, placing them 4th in the Federal Association West.
Minneapolis used the timely hitting of Stu Trott to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Millers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
In postgame remarks, Trott applauded his team's "resolve."
