Stars Over Sailors, 4-3 | Los Angeles Stars starter Floyd Warner pitched a strong game against the San Francisco Sailors at Golden Gate Stadium, leading the Stars to victory, 4-3. Hank Myer notched his 11th save of the season. Los Angeles's record now stands at 51-32, placing them second in the Continental Association.
Making an impact for Los Angeles was first baseman Ralph Barrell. Butch drilled a 2-run home run off Charlie Lawson in the top of the fourth. For the game, Barrell went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
