Dynamos Earn 4-3 Home Win | The Detroit Dynamos knocked off the New York Gothams, 4-3, at Thompson Field. Ed Holt was a big reason Detroit won. The catcher was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Howie French, now 13-7, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 3. Larry Beebe collected his 2nd save.
