Davidson Sparkles in 4-0 Blanking of New York
Charlie Davidson kept the New York Imperials hitters from doing much damage at Dominion Stadium.

New York could only muster 6 hits and draw 2 walks against the right-handed Davidson, who controlled them throughout the game. Toronto won the contest, 4-0. Davidson added 6 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Davidson told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."

This season, Davidson has compiled a 5-1 mark with a 4.32 ERA in 12 starts.
