| Adams Now 6-3 After Beating Saints | The Chicago Cougars converted a terrific effort from starter Hal Adams into a win over the Montreal Saints at Stade Montreal. The Cougars won the game by a final score of 7-1. The 5th-place Cougars are now 24-34, the Saints 22-31.
Adams went the distance for Chicago, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 3.
"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Adams.
