| Win Goes to Suns in Tight Contest | The Los Angeles Suns knocked off the Baltimore Clippers, 4-3, in Federal Association action at Wilshire Park. Los Angeles pitcher and Lexington, Kentucky, native Jim Place had an outstanding performance. Los Angeles reliever Ben Turnage snagged the win, upping his record to 3-1. Sonny Stoyer shouldered the loss. Los Angeles has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
The Suns got a clutch hit from second baseman Adolph Young. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Suns.
