At Lakefront Park, the Milwaukee Arrows and Chicago Cougars were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Cougars second baseman Cleo Harris left his imprint on his team's 10-3 win over the Milwaukee Arrows. Harris was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Chicago in the contest. The winning pitcher was Roger Alford. He tossed 124 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits.

Chicago relied on the hitting of Andy Babel to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Cougars on top, 7-2. For the game, Babel had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
