The Boston Minutemen beat the Baltimore Clippers by a score of 7-6. Boston third baseman Jim Wise deserved the lion's share of the credit. Wise was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Minutemen. Augie Hicks claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen.
