Stars Upend Imperials, 6-3
The Los Angeles Stars topped the New York Imperials, 6-3, in Continental Association action at Bigsby Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Los Angeles pitcher and Spokane, Washington, native George Dunnigan. The Stars improved to 33-22.

In the bottom of the fourth, Los Angeles left fielder Paul Richardson had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Richardson stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 6-3, Los Angeles. For the game, he went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Richardson.
