Suns Stumble, Lose to Eagles
Behind the bravura of center fielder Al Clark, the Washington Eagles topped the Los Angeles Suns by the score of 8-1. Clark was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Eagles. The Eagles go to 42-26, putting them third in the Federal Association.

Alex Wilson had a big 2-run triple for the Eagles in the top of the third inning. It was his 4th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eagles ahead, 3-0.
