| Wranglers Rally to Eke Out Win | The Dallas Wranglers racked up a win at Norris Stadium, bumping off the Cincinnati Cannons, 4-3, in 10 innings. Larry Perry, who started for Dallas, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Jack Meeks in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Bob Nelson took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Wranglers.
Dallas got a knockout punch from Buck Stout. The third baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Enough drama for you?" winked Wranglers manager Vic Kramer after the game. | |
