Norris Beguiles Minneapolis | Fans at Thompson Field witnessed the Detroit Dynamos blank the Minneapolis Millers, 6-0, on the strength of a superb effort from starter Jim Norris. The Detroit left-hander allowed 5 hits in recording the shutout.
"Jim was good today, but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Detroit manager Verlin Alexander said. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."
This season, Norris has 17 wins and 6 losses and a 4.06 ERA. | |
