| Washington Absorbs 2-1 Loss to Baltimore | The Baltimore Clippers picked up a win at Patapsco Field, knocking off the Washington Eagles, 2-1. On the mound for Baltimore was left-hander Johnny Hugot. He played a key role in the triumph. The victory makes Baltimore 7-4.
Amos Johnson took Washington hurler Herman White deep in the bottom of the seventh. His solo home run put the Clippers on top, 2-1. In all, Johnson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
