| Foresters Earn 3-1 Home Win | Cleveland registered a win at Forester Stadium by beating the Milwaukee Arrows, 3-1. Pitcher Roy Rice was one reason why the Foresters triumphed. The loss drops the Arrows to 7-3.
Herb Reed drove in one run for Cleveland. The three-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Tex Cavanaugh. It was his 8th RBI of the season.
"Every loss stings," said Milwaukee manager Randy Hendrix. "This one is no exception." | |
