| Big Day by Wise Ignites Minutemen Win | Soggy conditions did not keep Boston and Los Angeles from playing their scheduled game.
Ed Wise was a vital contributor to the 5-1 Boston victory over Los Angeles. The Minutemen second baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Los Angeles, now 7-19, continues its tough start.
In the bottom of the second, Wise had a 3-run home run for Boston. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Minutemen on top, 4-1.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Wise.
