Late Heroics Net Foresters 10-6 Win
The Cleveland Foresters defeated the Kansas City Kings, 10-6. Center Fielder Tom Carr deserved a large share of the credit. Carr was 4-5 with 2 triples, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times for the Foresters. The win puts Cleveland at 10-6.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 13th for Cleveland. That's when Hal Kennedy, who is tied for 7th in the CA in RBI with 10, hit a grand slam home run off Fred Washington to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Carr said in his postgame press conference.
