| Arrows Score Late to Upend Foresters, 4-2 | Milwaukee Arrows starter Red Burtch turned in a top-notch performance against the Cleveland Foresters at Forester Stadium. The result was a win for the Arrows, 4-2. Milwaukee is now 7-2.
Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Maury Cooper to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Arrows on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Cooper. | |
