| Pomeroy Takes Charge, Blanks Indianapolis, 4-0 | Joe Pomeroy had an impressive outing at Indianapolis Base Ball Park, hurling the Kansas City Stars to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Indianapolis Red Caps.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Indianapolis skipper Oscar Featherstone said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
