The Seattle Kings got a stellar performance from pitcher Swede Hawkins, who handcuffed the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Bigsby Stadium. The Stars drop to 4-8, as their fitful start to the 1975 campaign continues.

Seattle used the hitting of Jesse Walker to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Kings on top, 4-0. For the game, Walker had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
