| Imperials Clip Suns, 3-2, in WCS Contest | Starter Don Bradner was sensational for the New York Imperials in his team's 3-2 triumph over the Los Angeles Suns in Game 3 of the World Championship Series. Bradner pitched well, but New York picked up the win to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Bradner, a native of Leominster, Massachusetts, was dealing all game. He kept Los Angeles hitters off-balance, while giving the Imperials 7 quality innings. Bradner threw 102 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6.
"It's a mindset," said Bradner. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dyckman Stadium in New York.
