| Clippers Come Back Late to Top Dynamos, 9-5 | The Baltimore Clippers stopped the Detroit Dynamos, 9-5, at Patapsco Field. The Clippers got a big game from Hal Blank, who went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Baltimore reliever Max Reed picked up the win to move to 3-2. Bud Dixon suffered the loss. Detroit's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
Blank had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Clippers went on to win.
"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Blank. "Obviously."
