Dynamos Deal Suns 11-3 Loss
The Detroit Dynamos met little resistance from the Los Angeles Suns, beating them, 11-3, at Wilshire Park. Virgil Ewing led the way. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Detroit. Paul Anderson was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was 30-year old left-handed pitcher Jim Foster. Detroit goes to 9-3 with the win.

Detroit center fielder Ed MacNaughton contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 11th hit of the season and put the Dynamos ahead, 4-2.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Los Angeles manager Bill Morrill.
