New York and Minneapolis duked it out and the Gothams came out victorious.

New York picked up a win at Gotham Stadium, bumping off the Minneapolis Millers, 6-4. Pitcher Clarence Reimer was a major reason the Gothams emerged victorious. Bill Howard earned his 16th save in 24 chances.

Frank Arnold, the 12th overall pick in the 1955 draft, aided the New York cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman went 2-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.

"Clarence's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said New York manager Bert Carlton.

The Gothams win now puts them at 56-65.
