| New York Beats Dallas, 4-1 | The New York Imperials picked up a win at Norris Stadium, knocking off the Dallas Wranglers, 4-1. Starting pitcher Howie Weston was a big reason why. Weston got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. After today's action, New York sits at 28-21, while Dallas falls to 25-24.
Pete O'Leary came through for New York when he hit a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a two-strike fastball to center field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.
