Eddie Sargent went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs for San Francisco. With one out and the game tied in the top of the seventh inning, Sargent, who is tied for 8th in the CA in doubles with 11, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Toronto hurler Ray Smith, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Sailors a 2-1 lead.
