Association Championship Series Game 1 Victory for Lowery and Seattle
The Association Championship Series got off to a quiet start, with the host Seattle Kings taking a low-scoring, 2-0 win over the Milwaukee Arrows. Seattle right-hander Moe Lowery was marvelous at Seattle Municipal Stadium. The Kings now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

Lowery gave Seattle a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.

"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Seattle manager Alex Watt told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Seattle Municipal Stadium in Seattle.
