| Road Win Lifts Kobe to 3-0 Lead in NCS | The Kobe Bulls are one game away from a sweep of the Hosho Reliables after a road win at Nagoya Minami Stadium, 3-1. Bulls right-hander Yoshimatsu Yamamura had a strong outing. He threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. Kobe now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 BAN Championship Series.
With no one out in the top of the first, Tatsuharu Oto barreled up a cutter from Takashi Masuda. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Bulls in front, 3-0.
"Every team in baseball loses," Reliables manager Shun Kawamura said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Nagoya Minami Stadium in Nagoya.
