| Seattle Collects 2-1 Win | Seattle Kings pitcher Moe Lowery was in top form, leading his team past the Cincinnati Cannons, 2-1. The save was credited to Billy Collins, his 10th. The loss makes Cincinnati 23-24.
Fred Tollefson, who finished 4th in the CA in home runs with 29 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Tollefson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Seattle up, 2-1.
"Sometimes a win comes easy," Lowery told the Seattle News. "And sometimes you have to scratch and claw." | |
