| Minneapolis No Match for Hasson | In a splendid 3-0 shutout performance, Billy Hasson of the St. Louis Pioneers subdued the Minneapolis Millers on a 2-hitter.
"He kept hitting his spots and putting up zeroes, so I kept sending him out there," St. Louis manager Lou Ormsby said in postgame comments.
