Sam Hamilton did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the New York Gothams an extra-inning, 7-6 loss to the Minneapolis Millers at Hennepin County Stadium. Hamilton was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Millers now own a record of 20-27.

The two teams entertained the Hennepin County Stadium crowd with some good baseball.
