| Suns Lose, 5-1, to Baltimore | Johnny Hugot pitched a dandy of a game to help the Baltimore Clippers beat the Los Angeles Suns, 5-1. The win boosted Baltimore to 25-21.
It could have been a different outcome for Baltimore, had it not been for Clarence James, the 34-year old first baseman . James contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Baltimore up, 5-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Hugot. | |
