| Clippers Score Late to Beat Copperheads, 5-4 | Baltimore starter Mike Dunlavy pitched well against the Atlanta Copperheads at Patapsco Field. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 10 innings. Baltimore, with the win, is 6-3.
The Clippers got a clutch hit from third baseman Hal Blank. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Clippers.
"Our team showed some gumption," said Blank. "I like it."
