| Arrows Come Back Late to Top Sailors, 3-2 | Milwaukee turned a fine outing from starter Joe Wright into a victory over the San Francisco Sailors at Lakefront Park. The final score was 3-2. Jim Hart, now 2-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. With the win, the Arrows sit at 29-15.
Gene Owens was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Arrows pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
