Behind a fine performance from Mike Griffith, the Seattle Kings knocked off the Cleveland Foresters, 10-6. Griffith went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Kings. The win for the Kings raised their record to 34-15.

With Seattle trailing 1-0 in the top of the third, Griffith hit a curveball from Manuel Andreu for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Kings ahead, 4-1.

Griffith said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
