| Castro Dominates Oklahoma City | Pedro Castro kept the Oklahoma City Warriors hitters off balance all game long, as the Denver Bruins pitcher blanked the Warriors, 1-0.
Castro gave up 6 hits, struck out 4, and walked 1. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length.
"It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it."
In 26 starts this season, Castro has picked up 14 wins while suffering 3 losses. He has pitched 195.1 innings, allowed 152 hits, struck out 141 and posted a 1.57 ERA. | |
