Washington Tumbles Again, Falls, 5-2, to Brooklyn
Brooklyn Kings starter Marty Keegan was on his game, helping his team beat the Washington Eagles, 5-2. The loss drops Washington to 3-11.

Jim Mann had a big run-scoring double for the Kings in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Brooklyn leading 3-2 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Bob Easton, who finished 5th in the FL in wins with 19 in 1914, and swatted a double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kings ahead, 4-2.

Washington manager Tom Moran, after yet another defeat, remained upbeat. He said: "We're going to get out of this thing, we're going to come busting through."
