The Milwaukee Arrows went down to defeat to Chief Williams and his San Francisco teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Sailors. With the victory, the Sailors upped their record to 28-21.

San Francisco used the timely hitting of Red Jackson to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sailors on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Chief gave us everything he had," said San Francisco manager Bob Harris.
