| Mavericks Suffer 6-4 Road Loss | The Cleveland Foresters picked up a win at Forester Stadium, knocking off the Kansas City Mavericks, 6-4. On the mound for Cleveland was right-hander Roy Rice. He played a key role in the triumph. The 4th-place Foresters have won 4 in a row.
Athan Metrofanis hit a run-scoring triple off Orville Johnson in the bottom of the first, which put the Foresters in front, 1-0. Metrofanis had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
