| Clippers Lose at Home, 5-2 | The Los Angeles Suns defeated the Baltimore Clippers, 5-2, at Patapsco Field. Leading the charge for Los Angeles was second baseman Bill Perry. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Ron Clark closed it out for Los Angeles, earning his 7th save. With the win, the Suns hiked their record to 27-18.
Los Angeles used the hitting of Sam Forrester to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Suns on top, 5-2. For the game, Forrester had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
