| Dynamos Win 4th Straight, Take Down Gothams, 10-2 | The timely hitting of George Crain helped the Detroit Dynamos down the New York Gothams, 10-2. Crain went 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Dynamos. Pedro Castro got the win, improving to 6-0. He worked 8 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Dynamos, at 26-22, have now won 4 straight.
With Detroit leading 3-2 in the top of the sixth, Crain hit a slider from Ray Hooley for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Dynamos ahead, 5-2.
