| Alfano Shines, Shuts Out Toronto, 6-0 | John Alfano was dynamite at Dominion Stadium, blowing away the Toronto Wolves in a shutout victory. The New York Imperials starter had everything working as he held the Wolves to 4 hits in the 6-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Toronto skipper Carl Evans. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Alfano finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk.
