| Extra-Inning Win by Gothams Over Suns | Gothams fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.
In a low-scoring contest between the New York Gothams and the Los Angeles Suns, Curtis Robinson, who finished 4th in the FA in ERA with 2.67 last year, proved to be the difference. The New York right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Gothams win. George Libby earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0.
The Gothams got a clutch hit from first baseman Paul Church. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Gothams.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Church told the New York News.
The New York win streak is now 3 games.
