Czerwinski Goes Distance in 2-1 Win | In a tight tilt between the Cleveland Foresters and the Dallas Wranglers, Adrian Czerwinski was the deciding factor. The Cleveland right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The win for the Foresters lifted their record to 29-26.
Czerwinski, who finished 4th in the CA in wins with 15 in 1960, pitched a complete game for Cleveland. Czerwinski surrendered 4 hits over 9 innings and struck out 9. With the win, he moves to 6-2 on the season.
"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Czerwinski. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win." | |
