| Wranglers Lick Sailors, 6-2 | Dallas registered a win at Golden Gate Stadium by beating the San Francisco Sailors, 6-2. Pitcher Larry Perry was one reason why the Wranglers triumphed. Perry, now 7-1, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Dallas bumps their record to 21-21 with the win.
The Wranglers took the lead, 2-0, in the top of the fourth inning. Facing San Francisco hurler Jim Teal with two outs, Enos LeClair hit a run-scoring single.
"Larry's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Dallas manager George Waller.
