Hubbard Helps Atlanta Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Atlanta Copperheads finished off the Houston Comets, 10-3. Much of the credit belonged to second baseman Al Hubbard. Hubbard was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Copperheads. Howie Burt earned the win to go to 3-3. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.
