Chiefs No Match for Mack, Pioneers in 16-0 Thumping
Frenchy Mack was in a mood to talk following the St. Louis Pioneers contest against the Chicago Chiefs, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Chiefs, 16-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Mack said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The left-hander blanked Chicago on a 3-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 8 strikeouts.

To date this season, Mack is 16-3 with 21 starts and an ERA of 1.80 with 180 strikeouts in 174.2 innings.
