| Miners Lose at Home, 3-1, to Minneapolis | The Minneapolis Millers picked up a win at Fitzpatrick Park, courtesy of Ed Power. The left-hander helped his team stop the Pittsburgh Miners, 3-1. Earning his 2nd save for Minneapolis was Bobby Crooks. Minneapolis, with the win, is 10-38.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for John Edwards? The Minneapolis center fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Millers on top, 3-0. For the game, Edwards had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
