| Wranglers Win, 7-2, at Kansas City | The Dallas Wranglers topped the Kansas City Mavericks, 7-2, in Continental Association action at Prairie Park. The standout performance belonged to Dallas pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Larry Perry. Dallas bumps their record to 19-18 with the win.
Dallas used a timely hit from four-time All-Star John Vance to get the win. The center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Wranglers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was huge.
"Things didn't bounce our way," said Kansas City skipper Sakan Hashizume.
