Pioneers Rough Up Millers, Take 14-3 Win
The St. Louis Pioneers soundly defeated the Minneapolis Millers, 14-3, at Pioneer Field III. Steve Schultz, who is tied for 9th in the FA in home runs with 14, let his bat do the talking. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for St. Louis. Danny Daniels, credited with the win, is now 7-8. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 9 innings. St. Louis improves to 61-29 with the win. They lead their division by 7 games.
