| Gothams Beat Visiting Suns, 6-2 | New York Gothams starter Chet Stansbury turned in an exceptional performance against the Los Angeles Suns at Gotham Stadium, resulting in a New York win, 6-2. New York is 6th in the Federal Association with a record of 44-46.
The Gothams picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Chet gave us everything he had," said New York manager Bert Carlton.
