 | Pershing Shuts Out Coyotes Saturday, January 29th , 1949 Frank Pershing of the Manzanillo Palms was in command from start to finish in his 6-0 shutout win over the Camagüey Coyotes. He struck out 7, walked 7 and allowed 2 hits. "I felt strong the entire game," Pershing said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."
