It was a fantastic week for Wichita left fielder Eddie Bee and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Western Baseball League Player of the Week Award.

Last week Bee hammered the ball at a torrid .462 pace, going 12-for-26 with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 9 runs scored.

This year Bee has hit at a .462 clip with 6 RBIs, 2 home runs and 9 runs scored.
