 | Minutemen Lose Billy Dalton Tuesday, June 12th , 1945 "It was a freak thing," said a dejected Billy Dalton after injuring himself in a game against Pittsburgh. The Boston manager told reporters that he's expected to miss up to 5-6 weeks with a strained posterior cruciate ligament. The Minutemen are expected to announce a roster move in the next day or two. This season Dalton is batting .311 with 65 hits, 5 home runs, 28 RBIs, 38 walks, .414 OBP and has scored 32 runs. He has played in 55 games. |   |
