| Arman Shuts Out Cincinnati, 11-0 Saturday, June 10th , 1950 Brooklyn Kings starter Bob Arman really did a number on the Cincinnati Cannons today, shutting them out 11-0 on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 5 walks and had 6 strikeouts.
"We didn't have good at-bats," said Cincinnati manager Charley McCullough. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Arman."
This year Arman has worked 97.2 innings with 53 strikeouts en route to a 7-4 record and 4.33 ERA.
