Harry Carter Injured, Out for Season Monday, August 26th , 1946 The season is ending on a bad note for Harry Carter, starting pitcher for the New York Gothams. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Carter was hurt against the Philadelphia Keystones while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 9-10 months.
